Being accused of a crime can be, and often is, intimidating.  In a criminal prosecution, always the full weight of the state   --    complete with police, deputies, investigators, and prosecutors   --    is standing against you. Notwithstanding the fact that you are presumed to be innocent, you are not expected to stand alone.  Being convicted of a crime is more than intimidating, it can be devastating. Whether you were wrongly accused or you made a mistake and need to make it right, this office will be there to assist you.  If you were wrongly or falsely accused I will make sure the false accusation is brought to light and set right.  If you made a mistake the state must shoulder its responsibility of proving your guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.  The charges must be appropriate for the mistake you made.  Any sentence you receive must be consistent with the seriousness of the error committed.  I have had years of experience as a criminal defense attorney and as a prosecuting attorney.
